What is this screening room?

ACTORS has built a screening platform to bring the film to audiences everywhere. For a speedy check-out process, we recommend creating an Eventive account in advance.

How does this work?

From the ACTORS homepage, scroll to the “Watch Now” section. Select the screening of your choice (i.e. Rent or Buy). You’ll need to log in or create an account via Eventive, enter your credit card info, and complete checkout to access your ticket. Once purchased, the “Rent Now” or “Buy Now” button will turn into a “Watch Now” button that you can click to access your screener. You’ll get an email confirming your purchase along with a direct link to watch.

How can I watch on my TV?

You can access the film via the EVENTIVE TV app on Fire Stick, Apple TV or Roku. Find more detailed instructions HERE . Sign in with the same credentials you used to rent/buy ACTORS on your computer or mobile device, and you should see ACTORS in your account.

For how long do I have access to ACTORS if I rent?

You will have 7 days from the time of purchase to begin watching the film. Once you begin, you'll have 48 hours to finish watching.

For how long do I have access to ACTORS if I buy?

Forty-five years.

Is my information secure?

Yes. All customer payment info is submitted securely to our payment processor, Stripe, using the most stringent, PCI Level 1 compliant security protocols. We do not store any sensitive customer credit card details. While hosted at Stripe, all card numbers are encrypted at rest with AES-256. Stripe’s infrastructure for storing, decrypting, and transmitting card numbers runs in separate hosting infrastructure, and doesn’t share any credentials with Stripe’s primary services (API, website, etc.). You may request that your payment information be unlinked from your account by choosing the “account settings” link at the upper right while logged in and viewing a specific organization or film page.

We do not share personal information with any third parties without your explicit consent. All personal information is subject to the Eventive Privacy Policy which you can learn about here.

How do I create an account?

Sign up for an Eventive account at checkout or by clicking "Log In" at https://watch.eventive.org

This will be used for accessing the film on the ACTORS site.

I forgot my password, what do I do?

Reset your password directly through Eventive.

Can I share my account?

No, your account is unique to you and tickets can’t be shared

Where can I find my screener?

You can access your screener via email or by logging in back on the ACTORS website.

How much does a ticket cost?

Tickets are $5 to rent and $15 to buy.

I didn’t get a confirmation email. What do I do?

It’s possible your payment was not successfully processed or there was an issue with your email. Double-check your spam folder in case your confirmation email was filtered. If you can’t access the film after you log in on the ACTORS site, email actorspress@gmail.com.

Can I give my ticket to someone else?

Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
